An Update Regarding Covid-19

We would just like to inform you, that as of Tuesday 24th March, we will temporarily be closing our doors. Given the unprecedented situation, we feel, to safeguard our staff and customers, and the wider community, the best decision is to close.

However, while we are closed, we will be in the shop Monday – Friday. If you do need something, we will be happy to try and help you. All we ask is for your visit to be brief and for you to maintain the correct social distance. If you come to the door, or, if you get in contact with us over the phone/Facebook/Instagram or email, we will try and organise something. Whether you’re desperate for an instrument to learn, while you’re self-isolating, or need that new set of strings for your guitar, or even just to collect a repair, we will try and help. We are happy to take card payment over the phone, or in the shop, or you can pay by bank transfer. We won’t be accepting any cash payments.

Alternatively, we have a Reverb shop which we will be adding products to on a daily basis, where you will be able to buy online. If you did purchase something online, we would have it ready for you to collect at the shop, or we would be happy to drop it off locally. So long as our couriers are still working, we would also be able to get the item delivered.

As you may know, we also offer a repair service for instruments and electrical items. We’re still happy for you to drop off an item to get fixed at the shop door. All we ask is for you to get in contact before you drop the item off. We will also offer to collect your instrument/electrical item for repair, and then drop it off once it’s repaired. Again, this would only be locally.

We are trying to keep our business working for our customers as normally as possible, in very challenging circumstances. Please support all our local businesses, as best you can. It will be very much appreciated.

From everyone at The Music Shop, we hope we’ll see you all soon, when our doors are open once again.

Everyone take care, look after each other and stay safe. You’ll Never Walk Alone.
